RSGB Contest Results 432MHz Low Power 2018   
v4.145 by G4CLA

After considering feedback from entrants, the rules for the Low Power Contests were changed this year to ban the use of the ON4KST chat facility. There was little feedback on this change, if you do have any observations on how this change affected the contest, for good or bad, please email the adjudicator.

The number of active stations and entry numbers were about the same as last year's contest. Conditions were slight up on normal especially at the start of the contest, although some bemoaned the lack of EU activity.

Winners and runners-up were

  • Winners of the Open Section - Vecta CG, M0VCT/P.
  • Runners-up in the Open Section - Goole R&ES, G0OLE/P
  • Winner of the Single Operator Fixed Section - John, G0ODQ
  • Runner-up in the Single Operator Fixed Section - John, G3XDY.
  • Winner of the Single Operator Open Section - Michael, M0ICK/P
  • Runner-up in the Single Operator Open Section -  Geoff, GW3ATZ/P
